Create a test with its answer key

Upload the material you taught from and get a draft test with its answer key. You choose the question type, how many questions and the level. Questions come only from your material, and you review them before using the test.

What you get

  • A print-ready test with space for name, class, date and score
  • Multiple choice, true/false and open-ended questions, or only the type you pick
  • An answer key with the correct answer, the points for each question and grading criteria for open questions
  • For each question, where the answer appears in your material, so you can check it quickly
  • A key you can reuse as-is to grade answers with the grading tool

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your material

Up to 3 files as PDF, Word, TXT or photos. Scans and photos of notebooks or whiteboards are read with OCR.

  2. 2

    Choose the format

Question type, number of questions (5, 10, 15 or 20) and level: elementary or middle school, high school, or college.

  3. 3

    Review the draft

Read every question and its answer in the key. Fix or drop anything that does not work for your class.

  4. 4

    Print or download

Print the test and the key separately, or download them as text to edit in your word processor.

When is it useful?

  • Teachers who write quizzes, tests or worksheets every week
  • Instructors who want a first draft instead of a blank page
  • Tutors and test-prep programs building practice exams from their own notes
  • Students who want to practice with questions on what they need to study

Limits and care

  • It is a draft. Review each question before using it: AI can get an answer wrong, leave an option ambiguous or repeat an idea.
  • Questions are based only on the material you upload. If it is short or incomplete, the test may have fewer questions than you asked for, and we tell you.
  • It does not know your curriculum or your students. Adjust the difficulty to your class.
  • Blurry photos or hard-to-read handwriting can produce wrong questions. Use sharp images.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a quiz from a text?
Upload the text and pick the question type, the number of questions and the level. You get a test and its answer key, which you review before using.
Can the questions include facts that are not in my material?
The tool is instructed to ask only about what your material says, and each question shows where its answer is. Still, review the key before you use it.
What kinds of questions does it write?
Multiple choice with four options and one correct answer, true/false, and open-ended questions with an expected answer and grading criteria. You can ask for a mix or a single type.
Can I upload photos of my notes or the whiteboard?
Yes. Photos and scanned PDFs are read with OCR. The sharper the image, the better the questions.
Can I grade the answers with the same key?
Yes. Download the key and upload it with the student's answers in the test grading tool.
Can I edit the test before printing it?
Yes. Download it as text, paste it into your word processor and change whatever you need.
